Birla Institute of Technology, Patna is an educational centre offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses located in Patna, Bihar, India. It is an extension centre of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi.
==History==
The Patna Centre of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra was established in 2006, as a result of an initiative from the Hounorable CM NITISH KUMAR. The Patna centre of the institute is dedicated to the course of Engineering & Technology. In 2006 the centre began functioning, equipped with necessary facilities and at an easily reachable location. There are at present seven Academic Departments at the Patna Centre of BIT.
